THIS MONTH'S CHALLENGE

Millions of children in America suffer from some form of physical or mental disabilities like autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, speech disabilities, or brain disorders. They may live in a world of fear. Ordinary things that you and I can do every day may seem impossible. They feel different than others. They have special needs. They need our love and help.

Therapeutic Riding and Hippotherapy puts a special needs child in the saddle with a horse. A miraculous mental and physical bond forms between the two when they ride off together. Besides developing balance, focus, coordination, and strength, it gives the rider a feeling of confidence, pride, accomplishment, and healing. This feeling is transferred to their regular world.

For February only, we are backing three wonderful therapeutic riding farms in Florida who make the day better for kids with special needs, Cypress Farm in St. Augustine,Heavenly Hoofs in Kissimmee, and Hope Therapy in Middleburg.
